I got very excited about Firefox 3, so much so in fact that I installed it on my work PC and the virtual PC it runs which I use to test against IE6 and to do other potentially systems/settings-trashing things. Whoops. Anyway, it is still possible to download archived versions of Firefox if you do a little digging around. Here are two we’ve managed to find:

• Firefox archive on Filehippo (1.0 to 3.0RC3 a time of writing)
• Firefox archive from mirror of Mozilla FTP site, UK Mirror Service at my old alma mater, University of Kent. Be warned, this has a horrible user interface.

If you want really old school versions of Firefox, you can of course head on over to evolt.org.
