I’m working on a new theme for the OOTB Plone Themes project. This is likely to be my own theme which is very near completion, minus a couple of IE hacks. I’ve also signed up to do a third-party theme which looks pretty good. Watch this space.

Plone 3 Bootcamp in Oxford

I’ve just come back from a week’s Plone 3 training in Oxford, run by Joel Burton. It was a hugely useful course for a number of reasons and Joel was an excellent and inspirational trainer, and most importantly knew when to pace the breaks!

Simplicity on PyPi

I’ve finally got round to putting Simplicity, my first theme for Plone 3x, on PyPi, the Python Package Index.
This means you can now install it by including it in your buildout file (e.g. buildout.cfg):
eggs =
plonetheme.simplicity

You’ll also need to add this to the [instance] section of your buildout file:
zcml =
plonetheme.simplicity

Chrome even makes it to the Today Programme
