My Birkbeck

The My Birkbeck website provides a centralised repository of information for current students of Birkbeck, University of London.

I worked collaboratively with a front-end coder to create production versions of design comps provided by an external design agency and integrated these into the Plone CMS.

After the site had been live for some time I undertook some usability testing and found some usability issues which I addressed by suggesting changes to the site’s information architecture and tidying the site’s design. This resulted, amongst other things, in a stripped-down and cleaner home page.
