Privy Council Papers Online

privycouncil

Privy Council Papers Online is an ongoing project to create a searchable catalogue of Appeals to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council between 1792 and 1998. When completed it will list over 10,000 separate cases.

My involvement in the project was to design the site, including the logo. Not many images were available so the design centres around the use of colour, typography and layout, including a vertical and horizontal grid system to ensure a clean and easily navigable and readable website.

The site was coded using HTML5 and uses Object Oriented CSS (OOCSS) techniques for the styling. The site templates were integrated with Django CMS.
