The Art of Making WordPress theme

Art of Making screenshot

The Art of Making is a project to interpret stone carving in the Roman world, creating an online resource based around a previously unpublished photographic collection by the sculptor Peter Rockwell.

At the early stages of the project I was involved in the creation of the project’s logo and WordPress blog theme design. These will also be adapted for use in the final project website.

The design uses a simple two-column layout and baseline grid.

The theme is a child theme of Boilerplate, an HTML5 base theme and is created with a lightweight HTML5/CSS framework I have been working on based on Object Oriented CSS (OOCSS) principles.
